Earth Space Technology Services, LLC is proud to announce its selection as a key partner on the team led by KBR Wyle Services, LLC for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center Technical Support Services (TSSC) contract.
This contract, valued at up to $350 million over five years starts in June 2026, and positions Earth Space Technology Services at the heart of one of the world’s most critical hubs for land information and satellite data management.
A Milestone for Earth Observation
Located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the EROS Center is the primary source for land-change data, providing scientists, policy-makers, and resource managers with the information needed to understand our changing planet. As part of the KBR-led team, Earth Space Technology Services will provide specialized technical expertise to support the TSSC mission.
Technical Excellence and Innovation
Under the TSSC contract, the team will support a wide range of activities, including:
- Satellite Ground System Operations: Ensuring the continued success of the Landsat program.
- Data Science and Exploitation: Leveraging AI/ML and advanced analytics to process massive Earth observation datasets.
- Scientific Research & Analysis: Contributing to the global understanding of land-use changes, climate impacts, and natural resource management.
- Sensor Calibration & Validation: Maintaining the “gold standard” of data accuracy that the EROS Center is known for worldwide.
